PATENT :

A Patent for "Herbal Ant Repellant" has been filled in the Chennai Patent office by PSG College of Pharmacy on 01.10.2004. It is notified in the Patent Office Journal (Application No, 997/CHE/2004 A).

DSIR Approval
This college is recognized as Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (SIRO) by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research under the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India as per letter no 14/428/2006 – TU –V dtd. 13th Feb 2007.

ISO :
Click to Enlarge The Institution was awarded with ISO 9001: 2000, certificate on March 18th, 2005.It is one among the few Pharmacy colleges which have been awarded ISO certification in this country.

MOU :
PSG Institutions including this college has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Wyoming University, United States on March 18th, 2005. The Institutions will collaborate with the University on Student Exchange programmes, Short-term training programmes for staff members, Joint Research work in the thrust areas in Pharmacy.

BEST TEACHER AWARD :
Dr.C.Vijayaraghavan, Vice-Principal, PSG College of Pharmacy received the BEST TEACHER AWARD from The TN Dr.M.G.R Medical University , chennai for his meritorious contributions in the field of pharmacy education on the occasion of the national pharmacy week celebration of The TN Dr.M.G.R Medical University held on 27th november 2010 .

SCIENCE CLUB :

Sir Ramans Science Club was inaugurated by Dr.Ramakrishnan, Center For Molecular Medicine And Therapeutics In Presence Of Dr.M.Ramanathan, Principal, PSG College Of Pharmacy On 9th December 2010.

Mrs. Priya Sivaraman delivered a lecture in Raman’s Science club of our institution on 6th January 2011. The topic of her talk is “Essential of Basic Communication”.

Mr. K. Sampath delivered a lecture in Raman’s Science club of our institution on 27th January 2011. The topic of his talk was “Awareness to civil services”.
